Orientalism was a romantic depiction of the East, made popular by European artists, most of whom had never visited the place. I have lived there, and my romantic renditions come not from myths, but a love and appreciation of this cradle of civilization.
Cobblestone Corridors is a view one may find at every turn in many of the ancient cities which remain today, such as Jerusalem, Jaffa and Acco.
Ancient Capital is a composite of ancient architecture, rather than an actual place, and it gives the imagination a place to wander.
