Laurel Sternberg is a second generation artist . During pre-teen classes at Chouinard Art Institute, she was influenced by a Japanese sense of lyrical asymmetry.
Sternberg lived abroad for almost nine years, absorbing the culture of the Middle East and Europe. She is primarily a representational artist.
Over twenty years of mural painting have made Sternberg very conscious of the emotional effects of color and scale. Collaborating with clients allows the artist to express the dreams of those who will be living with the art.
